JetBrains is a global technology company that creates intelligent software development tools. Our Legal team plays a crucial role in supporting various departments across the company, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. We are currently looking for a Contract Manager specializing in procurement to join the growing team and support our efforts.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Contract life cycle management: Oversee the entire contract life cycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Drafting and negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with external parties, including suppliers, contractors, vendors, landlords, and service providers.
- Risk management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and IP laws.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across legal, procurement, and global workplace departments, as well as other teams, to align contract terms with business objectives.
- Process optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements in contract management, driving efficiency and consistency.
- Guidance and support: Provide practical advice and support to internal teams on contractual matters and ensure adherence to policies.
We will be happy to have you on our team if you have:
- A law degree.
- The skills, familiarity, and efficiencies that come with 5+ years of post-university legal experience, ideally in a multinational corporation.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
- Excellent knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and IP laws related to contracts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Czech, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in contract management tools or software would be an advantage.
- Previous experience and skills in the following areas would be helpful and seen as complementary: software licensing, risk management, and contract management.
