Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive HR Specialist to join a dynamic People Operations team in the Amsterdam office of an international company. In this role, you’ll manage key HR processes, ensure compliance, and help shape a smooth, thoughtful employee experience across the organization.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Prepare various HR documents, including employment agreements, amendments, and employer statements.
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure new colleagues have a seamless start.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employees’ HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Actively contribute to local and global HR projects and initiatives, driving meaningful change.
  • Help optimize operational HR processes to support the company’s rapid growth.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records in the HR system.
  • Provide critical input for the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

We’d love to have you on our team if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR management, particularly in handling documentation and case management.
  • A solid understanding of Dutch labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and databases, with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (HiBob experience preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Fluency in English, with Dutch language skills being a major advantage.
  • A proactive, independent mindset combined with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for process improvement.
