Pricing and Monetization Specialist (Go-to-Market Team)

We are a global software vendor with over 15 million users worldwide. Our tools empower software developers to work more efficiently by automating routine tasks, making professional development both more productive and enjoyable.

To support ongoing growth and strengthen product launch processes, we have formed a new Go-to-Market team. Acting as an internal consultancy, this team partners with product teams to prepare new products and offerings for launch. This includes everything from marketing strategy and execution to monetization design, business process development, and other go-to-market activities.

We are now seeking a Pricing and Monetization Specialist to join the Go-to-Market team. In this role, you will collaborate with product teams, company leadership, and other stakeholders to develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability. You will also guide the implementation of billing processes tied to selected monetization models.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product teams and company management to design pricing and monetization strategies for desktop tools, SaaS, and on-premises solutions.

  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to define effective pricing models and monetization strategies.

  • Support implementation of billing workflows in coordination with product, sales, and other relevant teams.

  • Conduct customer and competitor research to understand needs, preferences, and buying behaviors.

  • Monitor pricing performance and recommend adjustments or improvements.

  • Advise product teams on monetization opportunities, risks, and performance optimization.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to deploy pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.

  • Ensure pricing compliance in collaboration with legal, finance, and compliance teams.

  • Promote awareness of go-to-market practices across the organization by sharing knowledge and best practices.

  • Contribute to internal guidelines, templates, and checklists for future monetization and pricing projects.

Qualifications and skills:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in business, economics, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven hands-on experience in pricing and monetization, with familiarity across a range of pricing models.

  • Strong analytical abilities, including data analysis, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

  • Experience leading or collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Understanding of the software industry and prior experience working on monetization of IT products or services.
